I keep a small container of this seasoning around all of the time. We sprinkle it on meat when we grill or roast, I've put it on homemade french fries (it would be good on frozen fries too.) I've also added it to recipes that just need a little more flavor.
1 c. salt
1/4 c. black pepper
1/4 c. garlic powder
Mix well and store it in shaker.

Play-dough
I haven't made any good food recipes lately, but I did make this today. Bethany thanks for this awesome play dough recipe. It's easy and it smells good too.
1 1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. salt
1 1/2 T. oil
1 pkg kool aid
1 c. boiling water
Mix together and knead until smooth. I think it keeps best in the refrigerator. I'm not sure how long it keeps for. I usually get rid of it after a couple weeks.

3 Month Food Supply
Our stake is helping families become emergency prepared. They have put a program together so by the end of the year, each family will have a three month food supply for each member of their family. Each week they notify us of what to buy. I thought I would share this in case any of you are also interested.
This week: Buy 13 lbs. of wheat per person
Family Item: Yeast .5 lbs.
